Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A query entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider operating that tool. The provider processes the terms and supplies its results. Throckmorton County Court Docket does not keep or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email may be retained as needed to answer it. Its contents are not shared outside the site operator unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
Every time a page on this site loads, our servers pick up some technical details about the visit:
- The IP address assigned to your device
- Which browser you are using and its version
- Your device type and operating system
- The pages you visited and how long you stayed on each
- The site that sent you here, if any
- Timestamps for each page view
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files stored on a device. They and analytics services help produce combined traffic measures, such as popular pages and common exit points. Browser controls can block cookies, although parts of the site may then work differently.
What We Do With This Data
- Keeping the site up, running, and loading quickly
- Sending your search requests to the right partner service
- Figuring out which pages people find useful and which need work
- Tracking down and fixing technical issues
- Showing ads that may line up with your interests
No Court-Record Data on File
Throckmorton County Court Docket does not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of case files or personal court-record data. It publishes directions to official clerks, courts, and re:SearchTX. The operator is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor data is not assembled into consumer reports or profiles about other people.
Official Texas case records follow common law, statutes, and court rules. The Texas judiciary open-records policy explains why the Texas Public Information Act is not the ordinary request route for court case files and why the responsible clerk should receive a case-record request.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes. Information submitted there is governed by the provider's privacy policy rather than this policy. Each provider sets its own retention and disclosure practices, so review those terms before entering a query.
Links to Other Websites
Throughout the site we link to clerk of court pages, trial court portals, statewide case-search systems, legal aid groups, and third-party search tools. Clicking any of those links takes you off our site. At that point, their privacy policy governs your visit. Read it before sharing any personal details.
Certain advertising partners may track your activity across sites to show targeted ads. That tracking runs on their systems, not ours.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal data. Some information may end up with:
- Search partners that handle queries you run on our site
- Analytics services we use to track traffic and performance
- Ad networks that place ads on our pages
- Law enforcement or government bodies when a valid legal order requires it
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable security practices are used for collected data. No internet service can guarantee absolute protection, so the operator cannot promise that unauthorized access will never occur.
Users Under 18
The site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. A report that a minor supplied such data will be reviewed for deletion.
Your Data Rights
with the state's actual privacy / consumer-protection statutes at build time. -->Applicable privacy and consumer-protection laws may grant rights based on a user's residence. Subject to legal limits, a user may:
- Ask for a copy of what we have on file about you
